Pluto is a submission-based monthly publication. Each issue contains an interview with an artist and features a print of their work. The remainder of the publication will change depending on the submissions. The objective is to make art accessible through price point and speak to the work that's coming out of Toronto. I hope to encourage readers to admire lifestyles similar to their own.

The publication is run by Kris. I'm a former OCADu student that likes to talk, to curate and operate through print. This project is not lucrative but a genuine effort to reduce monetary stress when trying to purchase artist work and to reduce artist stress of getting work "out there." The entire publication is submission-oriented, including the interview. 

The name is of the former planet Pluto, that is now classified as a dwarf planet. The demotion meant that Pluto was no longer relevant when studying the solar system. I think Toronto is similar in status when talking about art, design and fashion. I feel that the city is often overlooked despite being saturated in talent.
